Calculations and programs are sketched out, ideas tossed back and forth and tests are run. They couldn't do it without McCoy's medical expertise, to advise on how to correct certain anomalies and guarantee that once the pods were reactivated those who were transformed could be restored.

Hours, or possibly days later, they're ready. The pods are clean, glowing an unearthly sort of green in the background as Harry runs through the programs for the hundredth time.
